What is your favorite song in this show and why?
My favorite song is top of the world because of the beautiful blocking by Ethan that will happen during the song!

Tell us about your role for this production!
I’m lighting designing for Hunchback. I’m very excited to help tell the story through mood with lights!
How did you get into theatre?
I started at UNC Asheville my freshman year my first show ever being Into the woods as a follow spot operator. I had never done theatre before besides growing up dancing! After that show, my major soon became gen drama!
What’s your favorite thing to do in the area?
Eat at stack house in between breaks from shows/rehearsals with the cast!
What about this production are you the most excited about?
Being on the creative team and have been able to see the show from the very start and seeing everyone’s ideas coming together as one beautiful piece!

Wedding singer at SART and Land of Oz in beech mountain!
Biography
Claire Daniel is excited to work with SART again as Master Electrician, ASM for "Sisters of Swing", and lastly Lighting Designer for "The Hunchback of Notre Dame". Previously she has worked with The Magnetic Theatre as Stage Manager for "No More Waiting." Another show she is worked on is "All Shook up" at HART theatre as a Lighting Designer. In the past with SART she was the Lighting Designer and Production Stage Manager for "A Christmas Carol". Also had worked on the summer season as an ASM for “Last Five Years” and on crew for “First Date”. She is a recent graduate of University of North Carolina at Asheville, spring 2021. She majored in Drama with a New Media minor. Some other things she worked on was with Asheville Community Theatre in various productions such as “9 to 5”, “Avenue Q”, “Hands on a Hardbody”, “Alice in Wonderland", "Footloose”, and “Wizard of Oz”, being crew members and Assistant Lighting Designer with Rob Bowen. She also spent time as the House Electrician of Carol Belk Theatre at UNCA. Some other UNCA shows she had worked on were shows such as “Into the Woods”, “Welcome Home Jenny Sutter”, “This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, and This Girl does Nothing”, “War of the Worlds”, “Metamorphosis”, “ The Absurdist Shows ( The Bald Soprano, and The Room)”, “ She kills Monsters”, “ The Pandemic Theatre Project”, and last but not least Light Designing the dance shows. She is thrilled for everyone seeing SARTS season.
