FAQ for Our Internship Program:

1. What is the age range for the internship programs?

Currently, we only offer an internship program to high-school and college-aged students. The internship is targeted at individuals between the ages of 16 and 25.

2. Are college credits and stipends offered in this program?
     
SART does count towards most internship credits.  However, a bi-weekly stipend is provided for all interns.

3. What is the timeline for the internship program?

The internship program runs from the beginning of June to the end of July.

4. What happens if someone has a scheduling conflict during the summer?

SART understands that there may be immovable plans during the summer. If given prior notice before accepting the internship, participants may be allowed permission to miss certain days. However, long periods of absence will likely not be accommodated.

5. What is the housing like?
     
Internship housing is for college interns only and is located in a dorm on the Mars Hill University campus. Interns can expect to share a dorm with at least one other person, possibly two. Mars Hill University dorms are set up in a 2 room layout, with one single room and the other double. Interns will also share the living room, bathroom, and kitchen with their roommates. At most, three interns will be in each dorm.
